ANXIETY – drawing exhibition
"We don't know what we are afraid of, we don't know what ails us, and yet something ails us, we would like to get out of the situation we are in, to breathe freely, but we don't know what its evil consists in." writes renowned psychiatrist Antoni Kepinski about anxiety. Yesterday pushes against tomorrow, we can't stop even for a moment, because there are no moments free from life. We have to constantly wade into the future. The past pushes us into the gap of the unknown. This flight into the darkness can take the shape of an exciting expedition, but also a terrifying fall. I try to explore the anxiety with an image, to put a handset to the palpitating heart of our present. I find the delusions creeping over us, tightly wrapped around the fragility of life.
